"Casualties of War" was a 3D installation at OCAD U that explored the number of military personnel and military related deaths in countries around the world. These statistics were printed on the bones of a blackened skeleton, and placed around a studio space for viewers to interact with. Viewers were encouraged to pick up the bones and rearrange them around the room to feel their weight and texture. The forms, textures, and weights of the bones were used to create a sense of dread in the viewer, to show them the brutal reality of war.
